I like to think of myself as a natural born planner. I am the oldest of five. So naturally, I fully embraced all aspects of an oldest child. I am the responsible, rule follower, manager of chaos, insanely organized and detail oriented girl with a hint of crippling perfectionism. I learned to talk fast and loud to be heard, all qualities that shaped me to be the planner that I am today. I loved every moment of my childhood and wouldn’t trade it for anything and have built in best friends for life. It taught me that the most important things in life are family, love and the people you get to share it with. To me, that is worth celebrating.

MY JOURNEY
My experience in events goes back a little over a decade. I managed high profile events for many local Nascar celebrities and race teams. I became very well versed in how to feed the masses quickly and the value of a good bartender and busboy to keep the party going. I received my formal education and Bachelors degree in Marketing and Event Management.
After college, I jumped head first into the wonderful world of weddings, where I have had the blessing of representing a very beautiful venue, working with a vintage furniture rental company and last but certainly not least I had the privilege of working under one of Charlotte’s top luxury wedding planners since 2013. This is where I learned the art of design and my passion for textures, color palettes and all the lush greenery. I believe my unique experience in different niches of the wedding industry allows me to bring many different skills and perspectives to my planning and design process.
Combining all of my past experiences, my passion for organization and love for design, I founded Kasie Kailyn Events. I have had the privilege of working for some of the most amazing couples. There is nothing greater to me than celebrating the most powerful thing on earth, love.
When I am not designing romantic weddings, you can find me watching Friends reruns, barefoot and soaking up the sun with my wild child, whether that be poolside, mountainside or just in the backyard playing in the hose.
Mallory Gates

Mallory is an adventurer at heart. She has lived in Charleston, SC, Texas and Denver, CO over the last handful of years and has finally returned home to Charlotte, NC to raise her family. She is an overachiever in every sense of the word and of the belief that you do it right or not at all. She exudes confidence and strength and is a calming presence on wedding days. I have never seen her sweat, she always has a backup to her backup plan and can roll with any punches! She shines under pressure and her attention to design and detail are unmatched. Mallory has always had a passion for celebrating life’s special moments and you can see it in every event she touches!

My right hand gal! Christy has been by my side for over 10 years. We often joke that we share a brain because we can anticipate what the other is thinking with just a look! This means we are a well oiled machine when it comes to event days! A natural adventure seeker and hippie at heart, she has a passion for photography and a meticulous eye for perfecting the details so she can get that perfect shot. She is not afraid to get dirty or even get on my shoulders to tear down a very tall ceremony floral install (true story)! She is a take charge and get it done kind of girl and can round up drunk guests in a hurry! One of our secret weapons on wedding days and an asset to the Kasie Kailyn Events team!

There is nothing greater to me than celebrating the most powerful thing on earth, love.
When I am not planning romantic weddings, you can find me barefoot in my garden, trying to grow my gardening skills (pun intended) or soaking up the sun with my babe, whether that be poolside, lakeside, mountainside or in the backyard playing in the hose. I currently live on Lake Norman with my wild child Wylder and my furry pup Frankie.
